About ApproxiMatch

The ApproxiMatch Difference

Any business using the Internet as a sales channel knows superior search quality is the key driver of revenue growth and customer retention. In the online world, the barriers for switching to the competition are virtually non-existent. Online buyers expect to locate effortlessly the businesses, products, or people they need or they quickly move on.

Selecting the right search engine for your company is an important and difficult decision. With hundreds of search engines competing for your business it is difficult to know you are making the right choice. You will find most search engines do a good job of matching 'exact' search terms and providing results, and in most cases this approach leads to adequate results for the consumer.

ApproxiMatch offers much more. ApproxiMatch has developed sophisticated algorithms that go beyond basic matching of search terms.

Imagine a search engine that could think like a human. It would then be able to look at a query and capture the user's intent. It would be able to:

  • Understand the different terms of the query and infer relationships between them, where the number of potential relationships between search queries is unlimited.

  • Expand the search to look for linguistic and conceptual matches in multiple dimensions, based on domain-specific assumptions regarding where such a match might be found in the data set.

  • Sort, rank and narrow down the results set, without missing the original intent of the user.

  • Do it all in a matter of seconds.

    This is the ApproxiMatch difference.
